shopping spree, aztec and pastel

Today I woke up and lay thinking about how I hadn't been shopping properly in months. I actually couldn't remember the last time I'd bought something that wasn't a necessity so I decided it was time to break into my savings account and go on a spending spree! For the past 5 months I've payed a lot towards driving and saving for my car so it was nice to finally go and buy things for myself and now I'm feeling content and happy.
I really love all things aztec at the moment, this jumper was from the mens section in Primark. I think all the shirts and jumpers are much nicer than the womens, the only problem is when I tried them on I sort of looked butch because of the shaping so sadly I couldn't get the ones I liked. This one is one that looked okay so I definitely had to get it. The shoes are also from Primark, half price at £8 which is pretty good. I grabbed myself a netted jumper from Urban Outfitters on sale for £18, shorts and the most beautiful blue coloured top from Topshop and a gorgeous pink pastel jumper along with a pastel mint green cardigan from New Look (they're much nicer in person, promise!)
Of course, I also went for dinner at starbucks - my absolute favourite. I grabbed a new red hair dye, a new blingtastic nose stud and three nail polishes (obsessed with pastel and glitter!). Overall, I could say it's been a pretty successful day, I can't wait to settle down in bed and carry on reading my book which I'm completely stuck into! Work has been nice, on Wednesday I got kind of stranded for an hour because there were no buses. Luckily I made two friends who get the same bus as me everyday, they're lovely and I don't feel so lonely travelling everyday. I went out on Thursday night for a meal with the lovely girls in my team, honestly the funniest people I've ever met - my stomach hurt from laughing so much. Met a little cutie who was emailing me from across the other side of the room and made a friend who lives in Turnbridge Wells and was here in Manchester for 2 days. Really happy at the moment, hope you all had a wonderful week.
